Outfitting families for less, the same promise R.M. Beall made when he opened his first store in 1915.
WHERE IT STARTED
One store, one simple idea
In 1915, R.M. Beall opened the “Dollar Limit” in Bradenton, Florida, a dry goods store where nothing cost more than a dollar. He used packing crates as display tables and built a reputation for treating every guest like a neighbor.
That idea, bringing families real value, carried the business through the Great Depression, two world wars and every economic cycle since.
